  • Fridays - First hand account of life at Camp Hale by 10th Mountain veteran Sandy Treat

Educational Programming for K-12


Museum Interactive Tour (40 minute tour given by a docent)
$4.50/student

Explore the museum's exhibits and get to know the artifacts.

Activities

  • Observing Snowflakes in Nature (30 minutes, given by a docent) $2.50/student

    Discover the science behind how snowflakes and ice crystals are formed
  • MMT-Museum Movement Techniques  (30 minutes, given by a docent) $2.50/student
    Students will learn about The History of Ski Poles through kinetic performance art, moving around to bring the artifacts to life!

Our programs were developed to meet the required, Colorado Model Content Standards in Science, History, Physical Education, Economics, Science and Visual Arts.

Maximum 45 students per visit.
Most school groups book the museum tour and one or more activities when they visit.
